Guidelines for Poster Presentations

Consider the following:

Title

Each poster display should include a lettered sign giving the title and authors. The sign should be at least 3 inches in height and up to 3 feet long and be mounted at the top of the board.

Size

The poster display area for graphics and a textual summary is 3 feet by 4 feet set on an easel. Text should be limited to three to five pages of double-spaced, 16-20 point text.

Author's Presence

Authors are strongly encouraged to be present for as much of the session as possible. Keep in mind that there are many advantages to being present - you never know who may be interested in your research.

NOTE

Mounting supplies are not provided; presenters need to have their own bulletin-board pins or double-sided tape/tack for their displays. Electrical outlets or internet access is not available.
